Why Balance?
The role of mom is EVERYTHING we ever wanted, but there are pieces of us that don’t fit into the “mom” category. We MUST find ways for these parts of us to still find room to grow and flourish. We are powerful influencers that have ideas and solutions to challenges. The world needs us to step and affect change. While you are in the trenches of diapers, endless meal prep, laundry mountains and to do lists… you are also a designer, a dreamer, a romantic, a warrior. What a wonderful idea that there is no limit to all you can be!!
WHY INSPIRATION?
Because I’ve been there…There was this moment where I literally was so exhausted from my beautiful girls that I cried out from a dressing room at a boutique – to my wonderful mom who was trying… to buy me some clothes that fit- I don’t have time for 2 buttons- and I burst into tears. I’ve been the mom with the tiny kids, the no down time, the so tired I can’t even function. We need to inspire one another to make it through the tough moments AND enjoy them! To realize right in the moment of the coke exploding all over the kitchen walls and ceiling that this is the funniest thing that your kids have ever seen and laughing with them is going to be a beautiful memory, a priceless part of the journey. We’ve got this… and we can do it!
Why Planning and Strategy?
You know the phrase… the days are slow but the years are fast? Well, I can’t even express how slow those days went by and my house was such a mess. AND NOW…I look at my first baby DRIVING beside me in the car and can’t even believe I’m in this moment!
We have real goals for our children. Maybe you want them to be solid in their faith, maybe it’s academic goals, or artistic, or travel! Whatever your goals are, if you don’t plan and create a strategy to get there- the years will pass by so fast and many of the great ideas never became more than just ideas.
